The Sensex was down 57.48 points or 0.09 percent at 62,788.90, and the Nifty was down 8.10 points or 0.04 percent at 18,590.60. About 1,226 shares advanced, 818 shares declined, and 114 shares were unchanged.
सेंसेक्स 57.48 अंक या 0.09 प्रतिशत की गिरावट के साथ 62,788.90 पर और निफ्टी 8.10 अंक या 0.04 प्रतिशत की गिरावट के साथ 18,590.60 पर बंद हुआ था। करीब 1,226 शेयरों में तेजी, 818 शेयरों में गिरावट और 114 शेयरों में कोई बदलाव नहीं हुआ।
HCL Technologies, ONGC, UPL, Tata Consumer Products and Adani Ports were among the major gainers on the Nifty, while losers were ITC, Hindalco Industries, M&M, Sun Pharma and Nestle India.
