Silver yesterday settled down by -0.06% at 72478 as the yield on the US 10-year Treasury note retreated almost 10bps to below 4.1% as traders digest the payrolls report. The US economy added a smaller-than-expected 187K jobs last month and wage growth did not slow as anticipated, but the unemployment rate surprisingly fell to 3.5%. The report added to signs the job market is slowly cooling.
