Indian indices opened on a positive note on September 8.
The Sensex was up 74.50 points or 0.11 percent at 66,340.06, and the Nifty was up 25.00 points or 0.13 percent at 19,752. About 1586 shares advanced, 414 shares declined, and 112 shares unchanged.
L&T, NTPC, Tata Steel, Bajaj Finserv and ONGC were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers were Apollo Hospitals, SBI Life Insurance, HDFC Life, TCS and Infosys.TO KNOW MORE@ 9917338909
