Indian indices opened on a flat note on September 7 amid weak global cues.
The Sensex was down 76.78 points or 0.12 percent at 65,803.74, and the Nifty was down 22.70 points or 0.12 percent at 19,588.30. About 1410 shares advanced, 555 shares declined, and 107 shares unchanged.
Dr Reddy’s Laboratories, L&T, ONGC, Maruti Suzuki and Adani Ports were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers were Tata Consumer Products, Power Grid Corporation, JSW Steel, Tata Steel and IndusInd Bank.
