Oil ascends on OPEC-drove supply cuts, report of falling U.S. unrefined inventories.

Oil costs ascended on Wednesday after a report of declining rough inventories in the nation and as maker club OPEC appeared to adhere to its supply cuts regardless of weight from U.S. President Donald Trump.

U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) unrefined petroleum prospects were at $56.02 per barrel at 0100 GMT, up 52 pennies, or 0.9 percent, from their last settlement.

Universal Brent rough prospects were at $65.55 per barrel, up 34 pennies, or 0.5 percent from their last close.

U.S. unrefined petroleum inventories fell by 4.2 million barrels in the week to Feb. 22, to 444.3 million barrels, the American Petroleum Institute (API) assessed in a week after week give an account of Tuesday.
