Base metals costs on the Shanghai Futures Exchange displayed expansive based quality for a second day straight amid morning exchanging on Thursday May 16, with nickel by and by driving the charge higher – however gains were progressively tempered in the alloying metal contrasted and Wednesday.
The most-exchanged July nickel contract on the SHFE remained at 97,710 yuan ($14,209) per ton as at 9.46am Shanghai time on Thursday, up by 0.5% or 480 yuan for each ton from Wednesday’s end of 97,230 yuan for every ton.
