Indian indices opened on a positive note on March 27 with Nifty around 22,050.The Sensex was up 175.61 points or 0.24 percent at 72,645.91, and the Nifty was up 62.40 points or 0.28 percent at 22,067.10. About 1738 shares advanced, 594 shares declined, and 101 shares unchanged. BPCL, Adani Ports, Maruti Suzuki, Reliance Industries and Hindalco Industries were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers were UPL, Tata Consumer, Britannia Industries, Wipro and Nestle India.
