Indian indices opened lower on March 26 with Nifty below 22100.The Sensex was down 200.39 points or 0.28 percent at 72,631.55, and the Nifty was down 49.90 points or 0.23 percent at 22,046.90. About 1545 shares advanced, 1042 shares declined, and 201 shares unchanged. HDFC Life, Tata Motors, Eicher Motors, HCL Technologies and Bajaj Finance were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers were Power Grid Corp, Britannia, ONGC, Grasim and Tata Consumer.
