Gold prices fell on Monday as U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said on Sunday that a trade war between China and the U.S. is now on hold. Gold futures for June delivery on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange was down $3.9, or 0.3%, to $1,287.4 a troy ounce by 12:52AM ET (04:52 GMT).
