Oil costs were torn on Thursday, upheld by fixing sanctions against Iran declared for the current week and influenced by a flood in U.S. supply and worries of a monetary stoppage.
Brent rough prospects were at $74.60 per barrel at 0512 GMT, 3 pennies over their last close.
U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) rough prospects were at $65.80 per barrel, 9 pennies underneath their past settlement.
